ABS NATSSIS Infographic Animation

On the back of the success of similar animations for the ABS, Spectrum was asked to develop a short animated infographic highlighting the key findings of the 2014–15 National Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Social [NATSISS] Survey.

There were a number of interest groups and sensibilities to deliberate before developing our approach and storyboard. After a thorough consultation and sharing of expectations with the client, our concept, approach and animation style was approved. A host of data and graphics now needed animating and tell a complex ‘story’ simply. We were lucky enough to be able to use the music of indigenous musician Chris Tamwoy. 

The animation premiered and was applauded at the national NATSISS conference.
