Greenhouse by Joost – Visited by Jennie

Jennie recently visited Sydney and explored Joost Bakker’s current success – ‘Greenhouse by Joost at The Rocks’. It was built using only recycled or sustainable materials. It’s topped with a roof garden that supplies herbs and vegetables to the kitchen and exterior walls are vertical gardens of strawberry plants. They have no rubbish bins and all waste is composted

Jennie was lucky enough to experience this living piece of art -and enjoyed the simple, homely and hearty food. Sadly, only after 8 weeks the Greenhouse has packed up and moved on. To see more of the Greenhouse by Joost click here.
