Designing material beyond the expected, trying a new creative approach or not following a formula can often make a target audience get [re]excited about a promotion. Here’s a good example of what we mean. The Batman franchise has gone from the cheesy [which some of us liked] to the macabre [think Heath Ledger as The Joker and Tom Hardy as Bane] and Superman hasn’t done a lot of late. Sure there’s dedicated fans – but how do you attract a new audience and not alienate the converted…try something like these cool new posters. I know we had the teaser trailer up and running not long after spying these!
